Expectations

Expectations can be helpful but they can also be tragic.

We should expect everything from our relationships and be ready to forgive and ask for forgiveness,

because we will be doing that.... a lot.

When it comes to children,

be careful.

We should expect great things from our kids but remember that it's our job to prepare them for those expectations.

Don't forget to love them and show them acceptance.

Recognize who they are and what they are good at, so you can nurture what comes naturally to them.

There is nothing worse than making your child miserable because you think they should be a concert pianist when what they really excel at is mediation or writing.

Expect life to be wonderful and expect ordinary moments to be magical.

Just don't expect life to be perfect and don't expect to not be let down.

Love and hold on and let go and have hope;

be true and be in the moment....
