Tis' the season

Christmas is my favorite time of the year. I love looking at the lights and the Christmas trees. I am a giver, so naturally I like this generous season . I don't mean presents. I'm talking about kindness. So often people ignore each other or a need, and only consider what they will lose. I remember a sweet little toddler sitting next to me in a play area that eagerly shared some of her cheddar goldfish with me. If only we could all remember to be so kind. Kindness can fade as the world wearies us. It's a guarantee that life will bring anger, frustration and impatience. Breathe and find the other side of it, as it all passes so quickly. I know, easier said than done, but it's a choice. As I have had to learn. Hold on to love because love doesn't fail. When you have love or find it, hold on to it.
